CHICAGO-The Blackhawks got a must-win playoff game over the Blues Monday 2-1 at the United Center. Corey Crawford came through with 34 saves for his third career playoff shutout.

Jonathan Toews got the Blackhawks off to a good start shooting the puck through Ryan Miller's legs less than five minutes into the game for a 1-0 Blackhawks lead. It was scoreless hockey the rest of the way until the final minute. That's when Marcus Kruger scored an empty-netter off a pass from Brandon Saad.

David Bakes did not play for the Blues. He's still recovering from the shot to the head that he took Saturday from Brent Seabrook. Seabrook served the first game of his three game suspension.

The Blues lead the series 2 games to 1. Game three will be played Wednesday night at the United Center.
