Rockford, IL- Some of the best bowlers in the country hit the lanes again Friday in Rockford with some big money on the line. The BPAA Women's All-Star Bowling Championship was held at the Cherry Bowl. Thirty-six thousand dollars was handed out between the top five bowlers. Shannon O'Keefe was in fourth place and knocked out the third place bowler Liz Johnson. The Championship came down to Diana Zaviolava taking on the first place seed Shannon Pluhowski. Pluhowski won the match and $15,000 for first place. She has bowled in Rockford before and was thrilled with her improvement from last time.

"When I bowled the collegiate thing here I was the leader going in and I lost in the step ladder, I bowled a terrible game. I think I bowled 140. So I was excited to come back to cherry bowl. I knew I had good ball reaction here and just tried to make the most of it," says Pluhowski.
