RVC Women Fall Short

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The two-time defending champion Golden Eagles fell short tonight in the Women’s NJCAA Division III national title game. Northland (Minn) beat Rock Valley College 69-60 Saturday night. Northland was seeded number 7 entering the tournament and is the lowest seeded team to ever win the championship. Northland had 22 consecutive wins entering Saturday’s game and finished with a record of 27-1. Rock Valley College had a 17 game win streak before tonight’s loss and dropped their record to 28-6 for the 2013-14 season.
