ROCKFORD-The Rockford University baseball team is ready to begin postseason action Thursday morning. The Regents will play in the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament at Concordia, Wisconsin.

The Regents squeaked into the tournament as the sixth and final seed by winning their final two regular season games. Now coach Bob Koopman and his 17 seniors will face the number one seed in the tournament, and the number three team in the country Concordia University Chicago.

"They're a strong team, and they're well balanced in every area that we've talked about," says Koopman. "We have to play the best game that we can in all three aspects of the game to have a chance with them."

"We're trying to keep up the energy, keep up the focus. Make sure we're locked in just going in giving it everything we have," sas Regents pitcher Kyle Pisano. "And really bringing the energy in because it seems like to be a key factor for our team every game."
