Strong Start For Stateliners In State Bowling

ROCKFORD-Three NIC-10 teams are in the top seven following day one of the girls State Bowling Tournament at the Cherry Bowl.  Harlem is in third place.  Guilford and Freeport are tied for seventh.

Waubonsie Valley is in first place and Franklin Park Leyden is second. Six games were bowled Friday. Six more to come on Saturday.

The top individual bowlers from the Stateline are Belvidere North's Haley Solberg in sixth place, and Lutheran's Dakota Hazelwood in ninth.
