The Minnesota Wild were able to cut the Chicago Blackhawks series lead in half, winning Game 3 and narrowing the gap to 2-1.
Game 3 was the first game of the series in Minnesota, although that wouldn't seem to bother Chicago goalie Corey Crawford, whose save percentage and goals against average was actually lower on the road than at home. The Blackhawks also had as many wins (18) on the road as at home.
But Wild goaltender Josh Harding limited the powerful Hawks offense to just two goals, and Crawford couldn't stand the onslaught from Minnesota. The Wild took 37 shots across regulation and the first minutes of overtime before Crawford allowed the game winner to Jason Zucker.
Game 4 is on Tuesday night in Minnesota.
