Anderson Adjusting

James Anderson is adjusting to being a Bear.
Bourbonnais, Illinois-James Anderson is holding down the strongside linebacker spot with the Bears that Nick Roach used to play. Anderson spent the past seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He's played more games at linebacker for the Panthers than anyone in that franchise's history.

He admits it has been an adjustment starting over with a new team.

"Change is always difficult. Fortunately I came to a great place and a great organization. It should be a good time."

When asked what the Bears were getting in James Anderson he said, "You're getting a guy who's going to go hard every step and give everything I've got."

Anderson is a guy who can play all three linebacker spots.  He can also give the defense some veteran leadership that it lost when Brian Urlacher was not brought back.
