Bears-Panthers Predictions 10/26/12

<br>Our staff offers its predictions on Sunday's Bears-Panthers game.
Here's how our staff sees Sunday's Bears-Panthers game:

Aaron Bennett, WCIA-TV Champaign   Bears 31 Panthers 3
"The Bears are firing on all cylinders right now, especially on defense where they're playing better than anyone in the league. Carolina's offense has the capability to be explosive at times, but Chicago's D will rule the day."

Kurt Pegler, WMBD-TV Peoria Bears 27 Jaguars 9
"Cam Neton and Carolina (1-5) are really struggling. And the Bears defense is on a roll. On paper, it looks like a mismatch. But these are the games that so often define the parity in the NFL. You wouldn't think the Panthers have much of a chance. I don't. I like the Bears to win. But this is one of those games that might have you scratching your head if Jay Cutler is bothered by sore ribs, if Newton suddenly regains his form, and if a bounce or two goes the way of the visiting team."

Scott Leber-WTVO-TV Rockford   Bears 28 Jaguars 10
"Even with a short week to prepare and Jay Cutler bothered by sore ribs, the Bears will have no trouble in this one. I look for the Bears to establish the run game this week, so more running from Matt Forte and a few less passes from Cutler to keep some of the pressure off him and his ribs.
