The Cardinals beat the Red Sox 4-2 Thursday night in Boston.
BOSTON-The Cardinals are headed back to St. Louis with a two game split in Boston. They beat the Red Sox 4-2 Thursday night at Fenway Park to even up the World Series.

Boston led 2-1 on a David Ortiz home run in the sixth inning. But the Cardinals bounced back with three runs in the seventh inning.

22 year old rookie Michael Wacha earned the win. He's 4-0 this October. Trevor Rosenthal struck on the side in the bottom of the ninth to earn the save.

The Cardinals win snapped the Red Sox nine game World Series winning streak going back to the 2004 World Series.

Game three will be played Saturday night in St. Louis.
