ROCKTON - Anniversaries are for celebrating, and in the case of one Winnebago coffee shop, helping a neighbor.

Cuppa Java is using its 8th anniversary to collect food for the Old Stone Church food pantry in Rockton. The pantry will use the donated food to feed up to 75 families in need this Thanksgiving.

In return, Cuppa Java's customers get a free coffee or cookie, and today the generosity was in full swing, "I'
m very pleased with the customers who've come in and brought not just one item but multiple items. They did that for their free coffee or cookie and to help those in the holiday season that are in need," said Kathy Heeren-Ellis, owner of Cuppa Java.

A local church youth group also helped with Tuesday's donation drive.
