Cutler Feeling Better

Jay Cutler says he's feeling better, but don't look for him back in the lineup any time soon.
LAKE FOREST-Brandon Marshall thinks Jay Cutler could be back in the lineup in another week even though doctors have said Cutler will sit at least four weeks with a groin tear. Cutler met with reporters Tuesday for the first time since his injury. He was asked about Marshall's prognosis.

"He's optimistic. So am I, so we'll see how it goes," said Cutler with a smile. But Cutler seemed more realistic about his status. "I feel better. You know day-by-day. Whenever they give me the green light we're going to go in there rocking, and we can't look back, so whenever that happens you'll see me out there."

Marc Trestman hasn't 100 percent ruled out Cutler from Monday's game against the Packers, but it's highly unlikely that Cutler will play.
