Bago Pulls Away From Bishop Mac

Winnebago pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat visiting Bishop McNamara.
Winnebago pulled away late to beat Bishop McNamara 27-12.

The Indians led by one score or less through most of the game, but pulled away late in the second half. Senior Ryan Swigart grabbed a huge interception in his own end zone as Bishop Mac threatened the lead in the third quarter. Austin Moore powered in a short score on the ensuing drive to give the Indians some breathing room.

Swigart was effective at quarterback, hooking up with Isaiah Yanni for a touchdown toss to extend the lead. Moore had a pick-six in the fouth quarter to guarantee the win.
