Bears' Emery says team is "happy" with current wide receivers.

The Bears are down one large and talented outside threat, with rookie Alshon Jeffery scheduled to miss 4-6 weeks because of a hand injury. But even without Jeffery, Bears general manager Phil Emery claims the team is happy with their current players at the position.

Receiver Earl Bennett is expected to return soon after missing time to injury, and Devin Hester has made a bigger impact in the passing game as the season has gone on.

Free agent Plaxico Burress told ESPNChicago.com that he would be "honored" to join the Bears, but the team appears uninterested in adding the 10 year veteran.

Burress had 612 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with the New York Jets last season.
