Blackhawks Finish Off Wild

The Blackhawks beat the Wild in overtime Tuesday to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
ST. PAUL, MN-The Blackhawks are headed back to the Western Conference Finals for the second straight year. They advanced out of the second round Tuesday night by beating the Wild 2-1 in overtime.

It's no surprise that Patrick Kane buried the game winning goal in the extra session. He did the same thing in the opening round against the Blues. Kris Versteeg scored the Blackhawks' regulation goal early in the first period.

Corey Crawford stopped 34 shots including a pair of breakaways. And the Blackhawks killed off all three Wild power play goals.

The Blackhawks will now await the winner of the other series out west between the Ducks and the Kings.
