Bulls Fall Deeper In Hole

The Bulls suffered a second straight loss to the Wizards Tuesday at the United Center.
CHICAGO-Two home games, two home losses for the Bulls so far in their playoff series with the Wizards. They lost again Tuesday night 101-99 in overtime. Kirk Hinrich had a chance to tie the game at the end of the overtime, but he missed a pair of free throws. The second he missed intentionally.

The Bulls had a ten point lead in the fourth quarter, but they again went cold down the stretch. For the game the Bulls shot only 43% from the field.

D.J. Augustin had 25 points to lead the Bulls, but he was quiet down the stretch when the Wizards put the taller Trevor Ariza on him. Taj Gibson had 22 points and ten rebounds. Joakim Noah added 20 points and 12 boards.

The Wizards were led by Bradley Beal's 26 points. Nene Hilario had another strong game with 17 points and seven rebounds. John Wall added 16 points.

The series shifts to Washington for game three on Friday night.
