California Teens Aid Rockford Rescue Mission

Rockford Rescue Mission is getting extra help from a group of California teens interested in serving others.

ROCKFORD - A group of 15 young people from the Granada Heights Friends Church in La Mirada, California came to the Stateline to help Rockford Rescue Mission with their programs.

This week they helped preparing food, serving meals and sorting products at the Rockford Rescue Mission Thrift Store.

The group will be leaving the mission on Thursday, but they encourage local teens to volunteer and make a difference in the life of others.
