After deadly shootings at two Jewish facilities near Kansas City authorities have taken a suspect into custody. The shootings took place at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City and at the Village Shalom Assisted Living Center.
The Overland Park Police report the suspect is a man in his seventies. However, they say it is too early to tell if the shooting is a hate crime.
A shotgun was involved in the shooting. And authorities continue to investigate whether there were additional weapons involved.
