Genoa-Kingston Staying In Big Northern

Genoa-Kingston has turned down an offer to join the Kishwaukee River Conference.
GENOA-Genoa-Kingston is staying put in the Big Northern Conference. It has turned down an offer to join the new Kishwaukee River Conference.
G-K officials say the Big Northern remains the 'best fit' for them.

The other Big Northern schools have already announced that they'll be joining the KRC. They are Harvard, Marengo and Burlington Central.  Johnsburg and Richmond-Burton have not announced their intentions. Woodstock and Woodstock North are leaving the Fox Valley Conference to join the KRC.

If Johnsburg and Richmond-Burton do join the KRC that would leave eleven teams in the Big Northern Conference.
