IHSA Makes Honongah Forfeits 11/29/12

Hononegah is forfeiting it's win over Harlem for using an ineligible player.
Rockton, IL-Hononegah's 28-18 victory in October over Harlem has been wiped off the books by the IHSA.  Hononegah is forfeiting the game for using an ineligible player.  Linebacker Chris Walker, who played a key role in the game on defense, should not have played.

The IHSA had ruled the transfer student ineligible to play at his prvious school Lake Geneva.  And that ruling was to have carried over to Hononegah.

As a result of the forfeit Hononegah and Harlem flip-flop in the final NIC-10 standings. Harlem moves up to second and Hononegah slips to third.
