 Jaclyn Schultz - Reporter

Jaclyn Schultz joined the WTVO News Team in April 2007. She comes from Sacramento, where she produced and wrote for the morning shows of CBS-13 and CW-31.  Always up for an adventure, this San Diego native set out to work as a reporter outside California, landing in the great Midwest. During college, Jaclyn interned at CNN’s London bureau, booking political and economic experts for CNN International’s shows. Her assignments ranged from Iran’s development of nuclear weapons to the long-term costs of the war in Iraq.
Jaclyn received her Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations from California State University, Sacramento. She served as the Editor in Chief of her college newspaper, The State Hornet.

Her favorite past-time: exploring new places. From tracking moose in the Alaskan wilderness, to visiting the catacombs of ancient Rome, and shopping in New York’s SoHo district, this globe-trotter looks high and low for great “hotspots” to visit.
