JANESVILLE -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office says a tip led them to the man they believe struck and killed two motorcyclists in a hit and run crash the evening of Easter Sunday after the release of information regarding the suspect vehicle.

24-year-old Sambath Pal from Park City is being held at the  Lake County Illinois Jail for two counts of Hit & Run Causing Death and is awaiting extradition back to Rock County Wisconsin. The Sheriff's Office says Pal has connections to Janesville and Rock County.

24-year-old Mitchell J. Vance and 18-year-old Devin J. Julius were killed while riding on a curve on Highway 14 west of Old Humes Road in Harmony Township. Eyewitnesses say they were hit after an Infinity SUV crossed the center line, hit the motorcyclists, and then fled the scene.

Officials were able to identify the vehicle from a piece that had broken off it in the collision.
