<P mce_keep="true">&nbsp;</P>

Scott is originally from Ohio, but he has called Rockford home since he was hired by WTVO in 1989. He was promoted to Sports Director in 1995.

Scott anchors the WTVO (ABC) sports on the nightly news at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.  He also anchors the WQRF Fox 39 news at 9:00 pm.

Scott isn't one of those anchors who simply sits behind a desk. He likes to get out and cover local sports, so don't be surprised if you see him at a local game.

Some of the events Scott has covered include the World Series, the Super Bowl, The Indy 500, The NBA playoffs, the Stanley Cup Finals, the Orange  Bowl, the Masters, and the U.S. Open Golf Tournament.

Scott has also done sideline reporting for the IHSA Television Network on State Championship football games broadcast throughout Illinois.  He has also done play-by-play of Girls State Tournament basketball games on the IHSA TV Network.

Scott has also done play-by-play of Northern Illinois University basketball and Rock River Raptors indoor football, and he has worked as the studio host of the Hockey Night In Rockford telecasts of the AHL's Rockford IceHogs games.

When he's not covering sports, Scott enjoys spending time with his sons. He also enjoys yard work, reading and exercising. Scott is also active in his church.
