Aviators Sign Third Baseman Dhanani

The Aviators have signed Kyle Dhanani a former Brewers minor leaguer.
LOVES PARK, IL - The Rockford Aviators have announced the signing of third baseman Kyle Dhanani.

Dhanani joins the Aviators after spending the summer of 2013 with the San Rafael Pacifics of the independent Pacific Association in San Rafael, California.

"Kyle had a big summer in California," said Aviators Manager, James Frisbee.  "He is a gifted athlete who can play at any position.  He spent several years in the Milwaukee Brewers organization and we are very happy to have him."

During the 2013 campaign with the Pacifics, Dhanani appeared in 73 games where he had a .298 batting average.  He also tallied eight home runs, 42 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases.

Dhanini spent three seasons in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system; most recently in 2011.  In his last season with the Helena Brewers, the Rookie League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, Dhanini had his best season in affiliated ball by posting a .266 batting average, two home runs, and 28 RBIs.

Dhanini attended Thompson River University in Canada and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 43rd round of the 2009 June Amateur Draft.
