Hawks Tame Wild 2-1 in Game 5

The Blackhawks beat the Wild 2-1 Sunday night and lead the series 3-2.
Chicago, Ill.- The Blackhawks were tied 2-2 with the Minnesota Wild heading into Sunday's game. Minnesota Rookie Erik Haula scored off his own rebound late in the first period. Shots on goal were 8-6 in Minnesota's favor in the first period. The Hawks stepped it up in the second period and fired fifteen shots. Bryan Bickell got even on a power play goal at 9:18 with assists from Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp. Tied at 1 in the third period, Jonathan Toews scored the game-winner and his fifth playoff goal assisted by Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp.The Hawks lead the series 3-2 of the Western Conference Semifinal.

Both teams are perfect at home. Game 6 is Tuesday in Minnesota.
