ROCKFORD - Gas prices drop four cents in the past week.
The average price for regular, unleaded is now $3.25/gal in the Forest City, according to GasBuddy.com.
"With the Thanksgiving behind us, it appears that a nominal decline in retail gasoline prices will ring in the first week of December" says Senior Petroleum Analyst Gregg Laskoski. "With the government's report of healthy fuel inventories and U.S. refinery output reaching its highest level since early October, the savings at the pump is coming just in time."
Rockford drivers are shelling out the same as most people across the country. The average price in the U.S. is also $3.25/gal.
