Greenwich Village Art Fair a Success Despite Rain

The Midwest’s oldest continuous outdoor art fair goes off without a hitch despite wet weather.
Since 1948 the Greenwich Village Art Fair has been a Rockford tradition and this weekend was no exception. Artists from all over the country displayed and sold their work.

The fair takes place every summer this year it was held outside at Rockford’s Riverfront Museum Park.

"It's important to come out to the Greenwich Village Art Fair and support the artists locally and from out of town in their endeavors for art and support the community," said Volunteer Melissa Miller.

All of the fundraising done for the art fair goes towards the artists
