Heisman Voters Warming Up To Lynch

NIU's Jordan Lynch is climbing in the Heisman Trophy race.
DEKALB-Jordan Lynch is no longer the darkhorse candidate in the Heisman Trophy race that he was just a couple weeks ago. A USA Today Heisman survey has Lynch now second in the race behind Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston.

Winston received 68 votes in the survey. Lynch was next with 30. Alabama's loss to Auburn Saturday has dropped Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron to third in the race with 20 votes. Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is next with 12 votes.

The Heisman finalists who will travel to New York next week will be announced on Monday. The Heisman Trophy will be presented to the winner on Saturday, December 14th.
