Hot Shots Friday

Hot Shots Friday

From a tropical style holiday tree lighting ceremony in Florida to a shoplifting huskie, we've got your Friday Hot Shots.

It's Christmas Florida style! West Palm Beach lighting a 35-foot Christmas tree made of sand. In fact they had to scoop up some 600 tons of local sand to make this tree.

Shoplifting is never a good idea, but when the thief turns out to be an adorable dog, it's kind of cute. Cato the huskie got off his leash in South Carolina. And he was on a mission, to rob the local general store. He snuck in with customers and went right for the doggie treat aisle. Surveillance cameras caught him swiping dog food, treats, beef bones, then bolting out of the store. Cato then buried the loot for safe keeping in a field, then came back for more! Local police say it was the funniest case they ever solved.

Finally, we've seen one too many marriage proposals at sporting events, but this one is unique. A man in Chicago dressed as a Bulls mascot breaks out of his costume at thursday night's game to surprise his girlfriend! After stumbling a bit he pops the question to one very special Bulls dancer. The half court proposal worked, she said yes!
