Illini Blown Out By Badgers

The Illini got a big dose of the unbeaten Badgers Wednesday in Madison.
MADISON-The Fighting Illini haven't beaten a Top 5 team on the road in 25 years. That drought was extended Wednesday night. The Illini were blown out by the undefeated Badgers 95-70. The Badgers used a 20-0 run in the first half to build up a 25 point lead at halftime. The Illini never got closer than 17 points the rest of the way.

Five Badgers scored at least 11 points. Ben Brust led the way with 18 points. Sam Dekker added 17. Rayvonte Rice had 19 points and Joseph Bertrand 18 points and nine rebounds for the Illini.

The Illini drop to 13-3, 2-1. The Badgers move to 16-0, 3-0. The Illini's next game will be Sunday at Northwestern.
