BOONE COUNTY - A Capron man won't get a second chance at freedom.
The Illinois Supreme Court denied Aaron Null's appeal of his conviction for first degree murder. He'll have to finish serving his 50 year prison sentence.
Null was found guilty of murdering his wife, Brynn, in 2010, eight years after the crime. During the trial, there was evidence the couple were together when Brynn was last seen alive.
In November 2002, police were called to the couple's home. Inside, they found blood splattered all over a bedroom wall and ceiling, as well as soaked into the mattress. A bloody towel was also found in the trunk of Aaron Null's vehicle. DNA tests determined the blood belonged to Brynn Null.
