Knaus, Johnson Win Dover

The 48 car has moved into second place in the chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
DOVER, DELAWARE-Rockford native Chad Knaus, driver Jimmie Johnson and the 48 team are very much in the hunt for another NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. They moved into second place in the Chase for the Championship Sunday by winning the Sprint Cup race in Dover.

The 48 car finished just ahead of Dale Earnhardt Junior. Joey Logano finished third and Jeff Gordon was fourth on the Monster Mile.

It's the fifth time this year that the 48 car has won. It's the eighth time Johnson has won at Dover, the most ever by any driver.

Knaus congratulated his crew for its hard work over his headset while Johnson took a victory lap.

Johnson is now eight points behind Matt Kenseth in the points race. Kenseth finished seventh Sunday.
