HARVARD - A nine alarm fire sends units from Wisconsin and Illinois scrambling.

It happened just before 2am at 26018 Graf Road.  Firefighters arrived on scene with flames shooting out of a farm shed.  The blaze was so big firefighters from Wisconsin all the way to Marengo were called in to fight it.

It took them about 30 minutes to put out the flames.  Harvard Fire Chief praised the firefighters for braving the harsh winter cold.  Temperatures were in the negatives at the time of the fire and many times water freezing can pose as a major challenge.

The shed is a total loss.  No one was hurt.
