New Information Released in Shooting Death Investigation

Beloit teen shot and killed at what appeared to be underage drinking party.
UPDATE:  The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Armando Lopez of South Beloit.  Police say Lopez was at a party early Sunday morning at 1221 Wisconsin Ave. in Beloit when he was shot and killed. Police are now searching for Ezekiel "Chucky" Villa, 20, for first degree murder. He’s considered armed and dangerous. BELOIT- Around 2 A.M. police responded to shots fired near Keeler and Wisconsin Avenues. A 19 year old South Beloit man was found with injuries from the shooting.

After being transported, the victim died at a local hospital.

Neighbors say they were woken up by the sound of gunshots. "I can't really express what I feel right now. It’s just, I mean, I didn't think that kind of stuff would happen around here, but I guess it does," said David Deluna.

Police don't know yet what happened leading up to the shooting. Beloit’s Drug and Gang Police Unit is now investigating the incident.
