No Internet? No Problem! State Rep Offers Office For Concealed Carry Applicants

ROCKFORD - One State Rep is stepping up to help people apply for a concealed carry permit.

ROCKFORD - One State Rep is stepping up to help people apply for a concealed carry permit.

Rep. Joe Sosnowski (R) is offering his district office at 305 Amphitheater Dr. as a place for applicants to use his computers to apply for a permit.

Illinois State Police currently is only accepting online applications, which is a problem for those who can't access the internet.

"To better assist my constituents with navigating the online application process, I have decided to make my district office available by appointment to those looking to register" says Sosnowski.

For those interested in taking up Sosnowski's offer, you have to call 815-547-3436 and make an appointment.

Paper applications won't be accepted by ISP until July 1.
