In addition to the attempted murder charge, 28 year-old Christopher Jensen was also found guilty of home invasion and aggravated battery with a firearm.

The conviction stems from an incident in June 2009.  Two men entered a home at Kishwaukee and 15th Avenue.  At some point, the homeowner returned and found the two men inside.  The suspects shot him multiple times, including once in the head.  A baseball hat one of the suspects was wearing was found at the scene.  A DNA test matched it to Jensen.

Jensen is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 10.
