Rockford Man Pleads Guilty To Role In West Side Grocery Store Shooting

James Taylor, 21, could now spend as long as 60 years in prison.  He pled guilty to being an armed habitual criminal and aggravated discharge of a firearm.  Back in March, Taylor and a second suspect held up Mosey's Grocery and Liquor store on West State Street.  Taylor shot at an employee, but missed.  The employee fired back and wounded him.

Taylor is set to be sentenced next month.
