New salting techniques and a cute baby Panda gets named!
WTVO / WQRF – Things are about to smell a lot weirder in Wisconsin. This winter, snow plows will be using cheese brine to melt ice on the roads. That's the salty water that cheese soaks in. Apparently, it's cheaper to use brine over salt and is just as effective.

Finally, the newest Panda at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. gets named on Sunday. The female cub was born in August, but to keep with Chinese tradition the baby bear wasn't named until it was 100 days old. Officials had an online poll and the most popular choice was "Bao-Bao" which means "treasure" in mandarin.
