The Mildred Berry Center opened its new children and family counseling location on May 16, 2007. The new location serves as the home for child and adolescent services branch of Janet Wattles Center, and the Center?s 22,000 square foot convenient Rockford location is expected to provide counseling services to approximately 2,000 children and families in its first year.
Sixty staff members - including child and
adolescent psychiatrists; psychologists; therapists;
counselors; behavioral health, assessment and emergency service personnel; and support staff - make Mildred Berry Center one of the leading providers of child, adolescent and family behavioral health services in the region.
Mildred Berry Center is named after Rockford educator and child advocate Dr. Mildred Berry (1902-1993). She was an internationally renowned speech pathologist, lecturer and author. She was the second woman in the United States to receive a Ph.D. in speech pathology and taught at Rockford College for 36 years. Children, especially those in need, were one of Dr. Berry?s special passions. She served on the Janet Wattles Center board and as the board president for many years. In 1985, the child and adolescent division of that organization ? the Mildred Berry Center - was named in honor of her and her dedicated work on behalf of children and families.

Are You Suffering from High Energy Bills?

How can Maaco charge so much less than anyone else?
Our size gives us tremendous purchasing power, and our time-tested production systems make the repair process extremely efficient.
Which is better for my vehicle ? overall or spot painting?
Overall painting is often a great choice for restoring the surface of older vehicles. An older car has undergone significant depreciation, and a complete repainting can actually increase its value. Spot painting is the best way to protect the value of newer vehicles. We only paint where necessary, exactly matching that paint for a seamless repair.
Can you match the paint color exactly?
Yes. We take great pride in our ability to match factory finishes. Our expert technicians use the same paint and processes as the best dealers and body shops.
How soon will I get my car back?
Our production line approach significantly reduces cycle times compared to other shops. We?ll get you back on the road quickly, usually in no more than three or four days.
Should I pay for an accident repair myself or let my insurance company handle it?
Due to rising insurance costs, more and more people are paying for minor accident repairs ?out of pocket,? and we?re happy to discuss cost-saving options. We also have good relationships with all insurance companies, with whom we work on

What is a DogWatch® Hidden Fence System?
The DogWatch Hidden Fence is a pet fencing system that uses an electronic FM radio signal to keep your dog IN a designated containment area, such as a yard; or OUT of an area, such as a swimming pool, patio, or garden. Our pet containment fences also work in the interior of your home to keep your pet off a couch or away from a kitchen counter.
How does it work?
A hidden wire, buried underground, carries the harmless, low level FM radio signal around the containment area. Your dog wears a receiver on a collar that emits a mild stimulation, or correction, when he gets too close to the boundary. With an indoor dog containment fence, the hidden wire runs around your couch or other containment area and is invisible to the eye. We also have "wireless" indoor units that do not require placement of a boundary wire! Ask your local Dealer to show you the options.
How does my dog learn where the boundary is?
Your pet is trained by a DogWatch Dealer and learns the containment area through voice commands, audible warning signals from the receiver collar and visual flags that are set inside the hidden fence. Your dog goes through a training session with you for a few minutes each day for 7 to 10 days. With training, the dog remembers the placement of the flags and is taught to stay within the containment area. During the training period, flags are slowly taken away. If your dog goes to within 5-10 feet of the boundary, he’ll hear a warning sound indicating he’s too close to the containment fence. If the dog reaches the boundary, he will receive a mild correction.
How is DogWatch different from Invisible Fence® and other brands?
The DogWatch® Hidden Fence brand is often confused with the Invisible Fence® brand and may be mistakenly referred to genericall

A: Yes, it is normal. Acne at that age is usually related to hormonal changes.

Q: How often should I get my car serviced?
A: Best way to get the right answer for this question is to check your owner?s manual or service with someone that you trust. Ask questions like ?what does the manufacturer recommend? ? Some makes and models recommend different intervals on oil changes. The industry standard has always been every 3 months or 3000 miles, but today vehicles and oil are engineered to higher standards and you can go longer. Again, check your owner?s manual.
Q: How often should I rotate my tires?
A_Rotating your tires and keeping up with alignments, is the easiest way to prolong the life of your tires. Front wheel drive vehicles may require more frequent rotations than rear wheel drive vehicles. Tire pressure also plays a part. Maintain proper inflation for better wear. You can also check your owner?s manual for suggestions on rotations. We have found that rotating every other oil change is a good equation for even wear and prolonged life. Your individual driving habits will play a part.
Q: How will I know if my vehicle needs an alignment?
A: Chances are if you live in the

By primarily offering one-on-one sessions, we ensure that every student gets the full, undivided attention that they need through 60 full minutes of focused tutoring time in an individual classroom.
