Marcus comes to Eyewitness News from the suburbs of Chicago. A sealed meteorologist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University, and a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University, Marcus started his TV career working behind the scenes at ABC’s Good Morning America in New York City, working directly with Sam Champion and Ginger Zee, producing weather coverage for the United States. From GMA, his career shifted to being an on-camera meteorologist, working for TV stations and media companies in Cleveland, Denver, Baltimore and Louisiana.

Marcus began his morning news anchor role with Eyewitness News in January 2022, and hopes to connect with and be of service to the Stateline community. He also hopes to be a calming and clear presence when big news occurs in the region.

In his spare time he enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the region, watching streaming services and singing karaoke! Make sure to recommend a great series to watch or karaoke song to sing!
