Michele joined Eyewitness news in January 2020 as a reporter.

She’s no stranger to the Stateline, she previously worked at the CBS affiliate in Rockford as a producer and a reporter. She previously held an internship at Telemundo Chicago. 

Born and raised in Rosemont and she graduated in 2017 from Columbia College Chicago and double majored in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing. Her love for storytelling brought her to the Forest City.  She speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys reporting in both languages. 

My favorite part about being a journalist is the fact that it’s a job that keeps you on your toes and challenges you every day. It’s a job where you have the duty and responsibility of bringing people the most accurate and unbiased information and most importantly being able to ask the tough questions.

Outside of the newsroom, she works part time as an assistant producer at WBBM radio in Chicago. Michele enjoys spending time with her parents and her dog, Rocky. She loves traveling to new places and being adventurous.
