Bears add LB Aaron Lynch

The Chicago Bears have signed veteran linebacker Aaron Lynch to a one-year contract.

Lynch, a 6-6, 270-pounder, comes to Chicago after spending his first four NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in 44 games with San Francisco with 19 starts, recording 83 tackles, 15.0 sacks, 45 quarterback hurries and 28 tackles-for-loss.

Lynch, a fifth-round pick by the 49ers in the 2014 NFL Draft out of South Florida, enjoyed his best seasons in San Francisco in 2014 and 2015 when he recorded 6.0+ sacks in each of his first two seasons (12.5 total) to go along with 22 TFL, 35 QBH and seven passes defensed.
