The Bears quarterback position continues to evolve with the addition of another veteran.
The Bears reportedly have a one-year deal with Mark Sanchez. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network was the first to report the deal. ESPN’s Adam Shefter also reported the agreement.
Sanchez is an eight year veteran. He has played with the Jets, Eagles, Broncos and the Cowboys.
Last season he appeared in two games for Dallas as a backup. He threw two interceptions. Interceptions have plagued Sanchez throughout his career. He’s thrown 86 of them while also throwing 86 touchdown passes.
Sanchez is 30 years old.
