A disappointing Bears season finished up Sunday with a disappointing end. The Bears lost their finale to the Vikings 23-10.

It was the same old story. The offense struggled to put points on the board. The Bears only touchdown was provided by the special teams. Bryce Callahan returned a punt 59 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.

The offense had its chances in the fourth quarter. 11 times it ran plays from the ten yard line and in and yet the Bears couldn’t get into the endzone.

Mitch Trubisky completed 20 of 36 passes for 178 yards to close out his rookie campaign.

Case Keenum had another efficient outing for the Vikings. He completed 21 of 29 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown. Latavius Murray rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings.

The Bears close out their season with a 5-11 record and winless against teams in their own division. More than likely this was John Fox’s final game as head coach.

Fox wouldn’t answer questions about his future during a very brief press conference following the game.

“Look I’m here. The league makes me be here to talk about this game,” said Fox. “That’s what we’ll keep it to and anything after that we’ll keep you posted.”
