The Chicago Bears made another move in free agency Wednesday by signing offensive lineman Ted Larsen to a one-year contract.

Larsen (6-3, 323) has appeared in 125 games with 86 starts over nine seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2010-13), Arizona Cardinals (2014-15), Bears (2016) and Miami Dolphins (2017-18).

In 2018, Larsen made 15 appearances for the Dolphins, including 13 starts at left guard. As a unit, Miami’s offensive line helped the Dolphins to the league’s ninth-highest rushing average per carry (4.68) while also producing 108.6 yards per game average.

As a Bear in 2016, Larsen appeared in 16 games, making eight starts at right guard while blocking for Pro Bowl running back Jordan Howard’s historic rookie season, which resulted in 1,313 rushing yards and PFWA/PFWA All-Rookie Team honors.
