Bears sign rookie Ridley and two other draft picks

The Bears have signed three of their recent draft picks including fourth round pick Riley Ridley of Georgia.

Ridley, a wide receiver, hauled in 44 receptions for 570 yards and nine touchdowns for Georgia last season. He had six receptions for the Bulldogs in the 2018 NCAA National Championship game.

The Bears also signed seventh round picks Kerrith Whyte Jr. and Stephen Denmark.

Whyte is a running back out of Florida Atlantic University. Last season he rushed for 866 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry. He also returned 19 kicks for 545 yards. He returned one kick 100 yards for a touchdown.

Denmark is a defensive back from Valdosta State. He had 55 tackles last season along with three interceptions and nine pass breakups. He’s 6’4 and he runs a 4.46 40-yard dash.
