Will this be the year when Kevin White stays healthy and on the field for the Bears?
The third year receiver has played only four regular season games in his first two seasons because of injuries. But at Bears camp through two days he looks completely healthy and ready to roll. He’s anxious to turn in a big season.
When asked how he’s approaching the season he responded, “Patient but with a little bit of urgency. I just want to go out there play, have fun and do my job.” ” It’s probably the hardest thing I’ve had to do just staying away from the game basically two years and not being able to go out there and produce.”
“It was fun to be back out there with the guys rallying together and going out there to compete.”
“It’s hard to get better at something if you don’t practice it,” says Bears coach John Fox. “So getting a string of practices, getting him out there and developing his skill set. He’s got plenty of athletic ability. That’s why he was picked where he is (in the draft). Where he was now it’s just getting out there and improving your skill set.”
