Mariana started as a Producer at WTVO in January of 2018. After a few months she moved to a Photographer position, then a Reporter.
Mariana is originally from Maywood, a small village 20 minutes outside of down town Chicago.
She Graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2017. There she obtained her degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Marketing. During her time at Columbia, she worked at her schools news paper, The Columbia Chronicle. She also reported and anchored for her schools live news segment, ‘News Beat.’
Mariana enjoys trying new things, and meeting new people. That’s her favorite part of the job. When she’s not at work you can find her spending time with her family, friends and pup, Penelope.
