Nekia Nichelle joined the Eyewitness News Team in February 2019 as a Morning News Anchor.
Previously, Nekia served as a freelance features reporter and digital content creator for Tribune Media, On-Air Traffic Reporter for iHeart Media and freelance Digital & Broadcast Journalist/Host for several companies including: WCIU, CBS 2 Chicago, NBC 5 Chicago, Good Day Chicago and more.
In her spare time, she loves to travel, enjoys spending time with friends and family, binge watching Nextflix/Amazon Prime Video, exploring new resturants and cooking.
