STILLMAN VALLEY, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Stillman Valley still has Dixon’s number. The Cardinals opened the regular season with a win against Dixon. And Saturday they knocked Dixon out of the first round of the playoffs for the second straight year.

The Cardinals defense was dominant posting a shutout until the final six minutes of the game when the Dukes got on the board on a touchdown pass from Jacob Shafer to Hunter Pate.

The Cardinals led 18-0 at halftime and they took complete control in the third quarter. Chad Gerig tossed a touchdown pass to Devin Willis to make it 25-0.

Early in the fourth quarter Willis broke loose on a 51 yard touchdown run.
