‘Avengers: Endgame’ returning to theaters with deleted scene and ‘a few surprises’

(WTVO) — Marvel President Kevin Feige says “Avengers: Endgame” will return to theaters next week with a few additional scenes, including some post-credit surprises.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Feige said “Endgame” will be re-released on June 28th.

Feige said the new release is “not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”

“Endgame” is currently the second highest-grossing movie ever, with $2.743 billion earned at the box office, coming in behind the $2.788 billion record held by James Cameron’s “Avatar.”
